Two things before I list important tweets with articles for the day.
Colorado...and the Nation really...
Yesterday there was a presser at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Denver sponsored by the Tea Party Express in which Colorado Tea Party backed US Representative Cory Gardner was suppose to attend in support of Congressman Meadows and Senator Mike Lee's attempts to defund Obamacare. I was at work and couldn't attend but was monitoring Twitter and Facebook as folks I know were there.
Started getting tweets that he pulled out at the last minute and had withdrawn support. Now of this of course was on the news in Denver that night.
I tweeted Rep. Gardner last night as to whether he was going to have any townhalls while he's home. To my amazement...Rep. Cory Gardner @repcorygardner11h
@fadboo I've held 3 already this week and have more scheduled.
Now he's my new congressman due to redistricting. Mike Coffman has been by congressman. I wonder if Complete Colorado or Colorado Peak Politics will pick this up.
Needless to say my Co buds on Twitter and Facebook were REALLY dissappointed...my neighbors too. We haven't met the guy yet, but we're gonna.
I want to thank Erick Erickson of Red State for his article about this this morning. He sure said what we feel today...We should not have to hold our noses .
